#WHYVOTE COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED

  • Chrissy Levett

In October last year, in partnership with The Politics Project and Democracy Classroom, (and anticipating the next UK General Election taking place sometime this year), we launched #WhyVote. Open to 16-17 year olds at schools or colleges, and over 18’s at university or recent graduates, our brief asked young people to create communications encouraging their peers to engage with democracy and use their voice to vote. Many young people have never been told that their voice matters. This competition aimed to amplify their voice. We were thrilled to have 6 high profile, expert judges from the world of politics, design + education: Alastair Campbell, Tyla Grant, Amira Ismail, Baroness Nicky Morgan OBE, Trevor Robinson OBE, and our own Chrissy Levett. Judging took place in January and we are now delighted to announce the winners! See their brilliant work in a new blog on our website.
