Wight

Exhibited at The Old Truman Brewery as part of the Free Range shows between 4th-10th July 2018, 'Wight' portrayed a visual relationship between myself and where I grew up, the Isle of Wight. An often idealistic, strange and restrictive place, the project developed after I felt I had distanced from it after moving away for three years, and had the urge to document its very individual characteristics. The project also explores how a particularly seasonal place survives the Winter months, and the effect that this has. The images resulted in a self made photo book and a large scale fine print in a self made bespoke frame.
