Wizarding World Gold packaging

Brief: In 2019 Wizarding World Digital launched their annual membership service called ‘Wizarding World Gold’. This brief was to create a physical gifting product with a voucher card. This was to be sold in 600 Barnes and Noble Stores in the USA, and several franchise locations in the UK including Platform 9 and ¾ shop in Kings Cross and Warner Bros Studio Tour London. Idea: Create eye catching packaging that will stand out at retail, while also creating an elegant unboxing experience. My role: My role was to lead the development of the art direction and develop the final design of the packaging for the physical product, working with a copywriter and artworker. I worked closely with a printer to execute the design to the highest standard which included several rounds of physical prototyping and testing. I later planned and art directed the photoshoot for product photography which was used to create marketing campaign assets for launch on the wizardingworld.com, partner websites, ECOM, and POS displays for two retailer stores.
