With only 4% of mainstream films directed by females, this festival is led by Like Minded Females social manager Beatrice Sutcliffe , who aspires to be a future film director - yet lacked confidence, as she barely saw any female directors - from a lack of role models to initatives to encourage female films directors to opportunities to connect within the industry Tonight's Festival is to encourage, empower & showcase the voices of female film makers.
