WSJ 125th Anniversary

Pratt Selected 11 students from different creative fields to develop pieces surrounding the Wall Street Journal past, present and future for an exhibition that celebrates the WSJ 125th anniversary. The exhibition took place in the Pratt Manhattan Gallery. We had to choose a topic and produce a piece inspired by it. I was most intrigued with technology, which plays a fundamental role in the Wall Street Journal´s growth as a leading source of information. Each technological milestone increases access to information to more people in more places. This series explores the relationship between technology and information. From the very beginning, technological advances have shaped our understanding of everything that surrounds us. Through form, color, shape and movement I explored how each technological milestone changes the way we consume, interact and engage with information.
