XL Recordings, a British record label, asked to illustrate a past event in XL history. I chose to illustrate the Popham Airport rave in 1992. Whilst focusing on volume and energy, I wanted to find a new way to represent a crowd. The final piece consists of 10,000 pins, hand placed over 6 days, which are symbolic to the volume of people that attended the rave.
