This exhibition was to be held in Infernos nightclub in Clapham which is a popular place for young travellers. The target audience at this particular exhibition would be young Aussies and Kiwis who are currently based in the UK whilst on their gap year and are looking to explore more of Europe, as for most that's the main reason they are in the UK. So for this design, I wanted something very hip and colourful, probably with a location that most will want to visit in the EU. So leading image on the front I chose to use a photo of a young woman in front of the scenic Bosnian town of Mostar with the iconic arched bridge surrounded by mountains in the background. The lead message "Up To 50% Off" is a strong sales figure to push & I wanted this to interact with the image so creating a strong hierarchy of the message had to be done. The aim was not to allow the message to shy away within the image but to become part of it, so creating a scene using layers overlapping displays a depth of the message within the destination.
