Sustainable futures through materials and collaboration.
Abbie Adams employs design thinking to reorientate behaviours towards reciprocal,
cyclical futures. Her projects deal with recontextualising our relationships to materials; both ancient and
contemporary. She is the initiator of Material Connections (2019), a nomadic research project focused on material centred collaboration and learning, curating experiences where people are encouraged to walk in and follow their own journey, exploring the boundary intersections between, craft, design, art and science.
