I worked with alongside Virgins design director and developers to produce a website that allowed users to browse and vote for pitches as well as being easy for users to add and manage their own projects.

• Transition North Syria: A Community Revolution - Stir to ActionIllustrations for an article in Stir To Action magazine. The illustrations were for an article entitled 'Transition North Syria: A Community Revolution', about a bottom-up system of democracy built upon a foundation of co-operation and the liberation of women. I drew from the source photographs the Journalist Jo Taylor had taken whilst visiting Rojava, North Syria. The vibrancy of colours and the chosen images represent hope, community and partnership.
• Kindling, a Food Revolution.Illustration for the non profit magazine , Stir to Action about the new farming initiate, The Kindling Trust in Manchester. Was really fun to work with the layout of this piece, taking the viewer through the different areas of the Kindling Trust.

  Stir Magazine cover and spread illustrationsI was asked to illustrate the cover and inside spread for Stir magazine. A magazine that explores new economic alternatives, where the democratic economy and civic society come together. The cover article looked at what comes next for community business, and how co ops are working together to navigate the tough times to build a successful community business.
