I am a freelance photographer, artist and emerging curator currently based in Wales.
In my art practice, I use photography in a multi-disciplinary sense. I often combine digital and alternative processes with ways of thinking, surrounding our relationship with y tir (the land), the environment, identity and memory often drawing inspiration from personal, rural landscapes in Wales.
I graduated from Swansea College of Art in 2020, where I achieved a BA in Photography in the Arts. Since graduating, I have been practising as a freelance artist, photographer and emerging curator. I recently completed working as a research assistant for We Live with The Land, The Land as Other a research project interrogating artists’ use of landscape as a subject, in Wales. My recent projects include The Gathering Ground, a photographic document that explores Wales’ relationship to water, and Where’s my Space? a collaborative digital project produced by PAWA254 and Ffotogallery Wales, to create a virtual gathering for young creatives.
I have also supported several projects in Wales in a freelance capacity where I have demonstrated skills in administration, promotion, curation, and documenting artworks, exhibitions and creative events. If you are interested in working together please get in touch.
