About me
Hey There!
I'm Abi, I am 21 years old, and a budding illustrator, designer and photographer. I am currently studying for my BA hons in Design for Visual Communication at Croydon School of Art.
I have started this profile as I want to use my extra time around university studies both working and gaining vital experience within the design and creative worlds. And I try and get as much freelance work as possible, but also feel it is vital for me to work for other designers and design companies to gain an all round experience in design!
I am always being creative and can often be found at local craft and art markets selling pieces of my work and networking with other creatives. I also spend quite a bit of time on social media, trying to get my name out there as a designer and as a student, both are very important to me.
I have worked in various jobs, including three years for a local council as a youth worker, specialising in arts. Working with people from disadvantaged backgrounds and hard circumstances really influenced me as a creative today and would love to work on projects that have a voice and something to say.
I am now looking to really get into the creative world! So I hope you like what you see,

Projects
- Advertising CroydonThis project was one that was for gallery exhibition, I was asked to create two images for print that spoke about what Croydon stood for. When exploring this project I decided to use the technique of photo montage, and then taking it onto adobe photoshop to come up with the final images. The images went into print of two variations, as an image no type, and an image with type.
- Imperial IndustriesImperial Industries, a creative start up contemporary jewellery design company based in Kent, commissioned myself to brand them. They asked for logo design, business card design, advertisement poster for their Young Start Up talent competition, Promotional Products as in phone cases and clothing as well as packaging ideas.
