About me
I am a recent dance graduate from Arts University Bournemouth. However, whilst studying dance I have found a strong passion for marketing, media and producing/coordinating events.
I think I am an adaptable, polite and confident individual with a strive to excel in all I do.
Whilst also at university I spent a lot of my free time creating short films with my peers. This gave me a chance to develop film making and editing skills that also helped me to explore and alternative creative output and is now something I enjoy as a hobby!

- kiwi - a short dance filmA short dance film choreographed, directed and edited by Sophie Wilkinson, featuring dancer Abigail Johns. Based around self-expression through an art-form and libraries becoming more than just the expected, this piece showcases contemporary choreography with a theatrical edge. This project brings together stylised choreography, an upbeat sound-score, costuming, make-up, spoken word and a commercial style of cinematography to create a characterised and bespoke piece.

Trainee Supervisor and Social Media ChampionBrewhouse & Kitchen

I am currently training to be a supervisor whilst working as a front of house member and as a site 'social media champion'. Being the social media champion for my site means I work alongside the marketing team to run all social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat). This entails coming up with innovative and enticing social media posts and campaigns.
Similarly, I am responsible for the online review platforms for the establishment (trip advisor, facebook , google reviews) and ensuring our online ratings stay at a constantly improving level. This includes motivating the team to strive for good customer reviews at all times.
I have also worked to achieve my gin specialist qualification, passing with 100%, meaning I can lead gin masterclasses for customers. Therefore, talking customers through gin history, fun facts and about different gin compositions whilst the attendees enjoy various different samples. This includes comprehensively keeping customers engaged and enjoying the experience.

For Surf the Wave, a 4-day dance event ran by Pavilion Dance South West, I was invited to be an assistant producer. This meant that throughout the running of the event I was on hand to help organise volunteers, performers and visiting delegates, also, to troubleshoot any problems.
