About me

I am a soon to be graduate from Leeds Arts University studying Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design. I am an enthusiastic surface pattern designer, driven by shape and texture to create individual narrative led design. I am a hands-on designer with a passion for all things digital which is prevalent within my designs, as well as alternative print processes. My designs are inspired by natural forms and marks. My drawings are often developed through the use of mark making techniques that are illustrative and are then translated into repeat designs using a combination of hand and digital techniques. I have an interest in print design in greeting, fashion and interior contexts.

  Graduate PortfolioThis project includes designs from my graduate collection which I will be exhibiting at New Designers 2019. It contains cute character illustrations, botanical feminine drawings and showcases my personal handwriting style. It illustrates how I can adapt my style to suit numerous briefs. Some pages also show how my designs can be translated onto products such as fashion garments, stationary and interior applications.
