I am interested in pursuing a career within the Production and Marketing industry with a very strong interest in fashion, beauty and the television and film industry, especially when styling/tailoring photographs and content for social media.
I am currently employed as an Account Manager at MSL, a leading communications agency with specialist practises including Employee, Consumer, Corporate and Health. My role includes planning, running and reporting on paid social media campaigns and promotional campaigns, client relationship management, and project and campaign management. I spend a lot of time with the in-house creative studio to produce copy, photography, video and design for clients.
I am ideally looking to develop my existing skills and knowledge in photography and social media, while working in a passionate company that encourages creativity and innovation. I have strong previous experience in managing clients, liaising with internal teams and external suppliers, photography and content marketing. During my time as an Account Manager, I have also had a lot of experience in managing organic and paid social media campaigns, analytics and reporting, and copywriting.

My duties in this role included co-running monthly Communications Working Group meetings, driving creation and management of all social media content, updating the website, ad hoc photography, and producing weekly eNewsletters.
I increased engagement and activity on the Club’s existing Facebook and LinkedIn pages and wrote and presented a detailed report on possible updates for the current social media and website, which resulted in the creation of a new social media output for the Club on Instagram and several proposals being put forward to committee members and the Club Secretary.

BA (Hons) Media Production University of South Wales
- Cardiff, United Kingdom
For a period of three years I studied at the University of South Wales, from where I graduated July 2016 with a 2:1 grade in Media Production. During my three years at University I had the opportunity to learn and develop a wide range of media-based skills, both practical and theoretical, as well as developing my literacy and I.T skills.
A large focus of my degree was not only on the production of media content, but also how it was marketed and promoted to our audience. I would regularly create a social media presence for my work and through that I was able to create a marketing strategy to ensure a large and appropriate audience was targeted. During my time at University, I developed and enhanced my skills in I.T and computer programmes. I now have extensive experience in Microsoft programmes, such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe PhotoShop and Adobe After Effects.
For my final project at University, I chose to Direct and film a series of profiling and promotional videos on local artists and art galleries. For this production, I began by forming strong connections with several contacts in the Cardiff art and culture scene and then pitched my ideas to them. The final result was a collection of four artist-profiling videos and two promotional videos for two art galleries in Cardiff. I then created a website in which to display the videos along with information and behind the scenes photographs which I then promoted over several social media channels. I chose this subject as my final project as I felt passionate about promoting the beauty and importance of the art and culture scene in South Wales.
I believe my degree would help me succeed and thrive within this work experience environment. I believe I have the relevant knowledge and skills when it comes to working with computers, computer programmes and media equipment. I gained a large amount of confidence through University from presenting ideas and projects in front of peers and lecturers as well as contacting and forming relationships with external individuals/companies.
