About me
I am a UK based costume trainee/daily with experience in fashion, film, television, adverts and theatre. I have a good working knowledge of period costume with a masters from the University of Glasgow - specialising in 19th, 20th and 21st century fashion, costume for performance and design. I am an experienced buyer and stylist and understand set etiquette. I am friendly, reliable and professional.

    The PunishmentTHE PUNISHMENT is a crime drama about Michael, an enforcer for a Glaswegian crime family. The film begins three days after the funeral for Michael's son, Ryan, and follows Michael as he makes his way to the home of one of Ryan's friends--a friend who may be responsible for Ryan's death.

    During this course I worked on a number of small projects that culminated in oral presentations and short essays (4,000 words), these included practical research projects, working in archives and museum collections as well as researching independently. I participated in two work placements, at Scottish Opera and Kerry Taylor Auctions. The final project was a 15,000 word dissertation - 'Sister Suffragette' A visual analysis into how costume is used to create, contextualise and communicate suffragette characters in popular films. Currently awaiting grade.
