A final year fashion photography student looking for a full-time opportunity within the fashion, digital and creative industry. I am an open minded, receptive and innovative individual, with an enquiring mind. Young, and eager to learn, I am driven by a challenge and aspire to continually grow and develop my experience. Having built up technical skills through my degree course, I'm confident in carrying out live project briefs and working within a creative network. Alongside this, experience interning at Village (London) I was able to offer and develop these skills within a professional, fast paced environment. Particular interest lies within contemporary affairs, youth culture, new generation talent, social media and the digital world.
Required to co-ordinate a team and take managerial role in organisation and providing excellent customer service.
As a course, we decided to self-fund and organise our graduate exhibition in London (May 2016). My key role is in the events team, arranging regular functions to help fundraise towards financing our show. This involves contacting venues, djs, social networking and promotion of events, ticketing, organising staff and decor.
Future Leaders Underprivileged Children's Centre (UCC) is an educational and sports programme dedicated to integrating out-of-school youth into the formal education system and promoting free vocational training for young adults at our sewing centre and beauty salons. The organisation run a free school for over 130 local children aged 3-15, and volunteers can live and work at the centre to help our Ghanaian teachers educate the students who attend. I spent two hours each morning holding one-to-one learning sessions with the youngest children enforcing the basic Maths and English skills they were being taught in the classroom. During the afternoons, I used my creative skills to take an older classroom of children, carrying out art/ drama and sports sessions. I then had opportunity to travel around Ghana on the weekends.
