A junior designer in a small audio-visual, lighting and data communications company, designing floorplans to magazine advertisements using AutoCAD and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) to ensure projects go according to clients' specifications. Clients include Byron, Claridge's Hotel, Corinthia Hotel, UGG, Kingdom of Sweets etc.
Lighting design technician in a large scale audio-visual and lighting company which caters for prime residential and super yacht sectors. Lighting technician’s responsibilities include drawing lighting schematics using CAD software, rendering images, creating client proposals, quotations and planning the schedules for installations.
Visual arts technician in art and design department. Responsibilities include give valuable and technical feedback to the students, help the students realise the potential of their projects, support colleagues, maintain all equipment and materials, ensure the health and safety within the workshop and keep up to date with new equipment and technology.
Design intern in a creative company. Has been exposed to multi-disciplinary environment that include products, graphics, web, mobile applications and installations. Work included the shadow installations of Dornier 17 at RAF Museum, rebranding of Flood Hazard Research Centre, developed a website for Barnet Diamond Jubilee Gateway and graphics for annual Enfield Innovation Competition.
Four-year course with a placement year have been successfully completed. Has achieved Upper Second Class Honours (2.1 final grade). Experience in CAD software, Adobe Creative Suite, metal and woodworking, and a range of rapid prototyping machines. Work experience with clients such as JBL, Jason Bruges Studio, Dezac and Amorim. Awarded with upper-second class (2.1) honours.
Various introductions to different set of skills ranging from computer graphics, woodwork, metalsmith, crafts, animation, photography, fashion and textiles. Pursued the three-dimensional design route and achieved triple distinction for folding wooden bicycle design. Awarded with triple distinction (3 A's)
Awarded ‘Student of the Year’ award for wooden foldable bike design. For final major project, brief was proposed and executed. This whole project helped in identifying strengths and weaknesses in the early stages of my career.
