– Designer and production manager for “Aviv-Yam”, a nautical restoration company based out of Herzliya, Israel. As part of my role I worked closely with clients in order to design the best solution for the restoration of the vessel in terms of textile work; including the planning and execution of upholstery, trims, awnings and other custom work that varies from one vessel to another. Furthermore, I oversaw production, heading a small team; adjusting work flow, and serving as quality control.
Interned at “Aitor Throup”, London. Worked on all aspects of the design process, pattern making, sampling and the design of leather goods.
Owner/Designer for my own menswear brand? ?“ADAM GEFEN MENSWEAR”?. Delivering 3 seasonal collections, I led a team of 5 through concept, design?, ?logistics and sales?. ?This holistic approach included, trend analysis?, ? designing the collection, color scheme selections?, ?print design, overseeing production and quality control?. Each collection was marketed in select boutiques and through individual sales, as well as through a transactional website
Freelance artwork design for the “NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC” bag company, a part of the Manfrotto worldwide camera bag division. The artwork was designed for different products based on a project brief. These projects included research, concept realization, and graphic creation.
Assistant Designer at “Ishtar” a high-end womenswear brand based in Tel-Aviv, working mostly in silks and specialty cottons imported directly from Egypt, Syria and other parts of the Middle East. I worked closely with the designer Tamar Primak, creating print designs, embroidery patterns and sourcing. I also worked on design, creating pieces for the winter collection 2012.
