I’m a visual artist from Manchester, disciplined in multiple forms of design. Currently, I’m working as an Email Designer for Booking.com Transportation Business Unit, the ground transport division of Booking.com, also known as Rentalcars.com. Here, it’s my job to ensure our customers receive high quality, relevant communications that consistently push the boundaries of innovation. In the evenings, I also work as a freelance Email Designer for Buzz Bingo, where I help translate their brand promotions & events into daily newsletter sends.
Previously, I worked as a CRM Operations Executive at PrettyLittleThing.com. Whilst there, it was my job to let loose those glitter cannons and bring out my inner 19-year-old girl to create awesome, award-winning, fun and immersive marketing emails that keep customers interested and engaged. This lead to a higher boost in click-through and conversion, helping the business to continually surpass sales targets and set award-winning industry benchmarks in the customer life cycle.
Before this, I worked as a digital designer at GettingPersonal.co.uk, an online retail company that specialise in unique and personalised gifts. I was part of the marketing team, designing and creating responsive promotional emails and advertisements for customers.

As a Senior Email Designer, it's my job to ensure our customers receive high quality, relevant communications that consistently push the boundaries of innovation. I am in charge of working in collaboration to design and develop new, highly personalised, automated emails, as well as improving their current ones. I do this along with creating and delegating the day to day sends. During my time at Booking, I have been in charge of overhauling any and all emails to make them cleaner, more modern and device friendly. I've implemented a new header, preheader, and footer. As well as cleaning up all CSS and creating multiple, reusable content blocks that work across any language, all of which have been heavily A/B tested and won. I've also designed, tested and implemented a few interactive elements including an accordion, tap to reveal, a vertical scrolling car and horizontal scrolling offer blocks; amongst others.

I was hired, on retention, as a freelance email designer to create Buzz Bingo’s marketing emails, as well as helping providing advice and expertise to support their automation team in email build best practice. I worked closely with the marketing and brand teams to ensure all emails matched the website and promotional artworks, creating a consistent, on brand, marketing communications journey that informed and inspired customers to attend upcoming events. During my time working for Buzz Bingo I recreated their HTML templates from scratch making them cleaner, inbox friendly and usable across all devices and ESP’s.
