Having earned a BA Honours in Graphic Design from the prestigious Central Saint Martins London, Adam’s expertise spans beyond the conventional roles of a graphic designer, working in a multidisciplinary approach across branding, strategy, print, digital, editorial, publishing and signage & wayfinding. His extensive portfolio demonstrates impressive abilities across prominent digital, print and environmental design projects in the UK and the Middle East, working alongside internationally renowned design studios; Hirsch Bedner Associates (Dubai), Brand Creative (Dubai) and SpaceAgency (London). Additionally, he has designed beautifully illustrated books at Black Dog Publishing (London) and Quarto: Quintessence Editions (London) for titles covering a diverse range of subjects on contemporary culture such as architecture, art, craft, design, environment, fashion, film, music and photography. I was responsible for leading creative concepts and overseeing the graphic design department where I took client briefs, managed project timelines and in-house resources ensuring that all work was delivered to the highest quality. It was my duty to present work convincingly to sales & marketing teams as well as CEO’s ensuring that all creative output was aligned with the vision set out in strategy phases.
Responsible for the concept and design development for signage & environmental graphics, print graphics and branding projects in the luxury hospitality industry. Developing conceptual ideas in close collaboration with the creative director as well as working closely with a world-renowned interior design team.
My role included the designing of book covers, grid systems, page layouts, typesetting, final-artworking, proof-checking, pre-press and print production. I worked closely with the in-house design, editorial and sales team for a range of clients in the creative & cultural arts sector, including artists, art galleries, and museums, to create beautifully produced illustrated books that represent a fresh, eclectic take on contemporary culture.
As part of the Quintessence team, I worked collaboratively alongside a team of editors and designers to create beautiful, high–quality reference books, with titles in all areas of popular culture and traditional references such as art, architecture, cinema and music.
