About me

Adele Rider is the owner and Managing Director of Shoot, the photographic agency and production company. Over the last twenty years she has worked with a host of fantastic photographers and a huge range of clients from record, TV and theatre companies through magazines to advertising agencies and major brands as both a rep and a producer. She has a broad business background, before joining Shoot she worked in marketing, fashion forecasting and publishing including a spell as MD of Time Out Publications. She made her way to ‘agenting’ via production and organising events for Vanity Fair. ‘I’m often asked to explain what we do as agents. The essence is we spot talent, nurture it, develop it and promote it, aiming to convince people, our clients, of its value. But in doing that we play the roles of managers, bookkeepers, marketing consultants, social media gurus, career development mentors, sounding boards and occasionally therapists.

Production of stills photo shoots for advertising, fashion, music, theatre, TV and film, publishing and other related areas. We act as consultants within the UK media industry giving advice and support in any area where stills expertise is required. I look over all the projects that come through Shoot and with the support of my experienced colleagues we will help the photo shoot process either in its entirety or simply giving advice on any area of production and photographer choice that is needed. It is central to our ethos that we insure the service we provide is excellent in all areas.
