I am responsible for providing excellent customer service in all aspects, from promotions to sales. Duties include: • Using my prior knowledge of events organising to promote upcoming events within the hotel e.g. Christmas, New Year. • Taking decisive actions to improve the branch performance. • Using a managerial approach within a team delegating duties to staff. • Tending the bar as well as waitressing regularly on large functions from 100+. • Responding to customer complaints in an efficient, professional manner.
This role has introduced me to the world of retail and how a shop floor runs in regards to merchandising and understanding what the consumers needs. Duties Include: • Maintaining the shop floor. (E.g. display visuals) • Unpacking and checking all new stock deliveries. • Supporting the team on the shop floor assisting customers. • Up-selling promotional and seasonal products.
• Creating advertisements to promote up-coming events. • Organising promotional events as well as running them. • Delegating duties to a team of around 4-6 people.
