About me
Digital journalist with experience in social newsgathering, verification, investigative research, news and feature writing, and documentary film production. I've self-shot one film so far: an observational character portrait focusing on the backstory of a woman trying to escape a troubled past and the extremes she's gone to in that quest.

Embed journalist within Storyful's News UK clients, The Times and The Sun. Duties include finding and authenticating newsworthy UGC videos on social media, carrying out investigative research, curating newsletters, attending daily editorial meetings and pitching stories to The Times. I’ve also worked with Storyful’s wider editorial team to source and verify eyewitness videos, and cover breaking news for other newswire clients such as The Telegraph, New York Times, Washington Post and ABC News, among others. Highlights include discovering Harriet, the viral singing donkey from Ireland. The story was picked up by the BBC and broadcasters around the world.
