Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, I am an artist, author and translator now based in Porto, Portugal. As a cultural author my work is centered on the developments of societies through the analysis of artistic and cultural creations. I write for STIR design journal and I am also an editorial member at Duchamp’s Socks.
English to Farsi translation has been the field of my study and publications has always been the center of my work and I have collaborated with entities such as Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art and Zamineh Online Art Platform. With Nazar Art Publication in Iran I have published 4 translated books about curating.
Trained in curatorial studies, I have co-curated an exhibition at A Plus A gallery in Venice and have been assistant curator at gallery10.Tehran for years.
