Hi, I am Agathe Montagnon.
I am a freelance illustrator based in Guildford, not too far from London. I mainly use watercolour, both traditionally and digitally.
I am particularly interested in doing:
- editorial work with humorous and lifestyle related material
- graphic recording or scribing for educational material.
- One day I’d love to see my illustrations for advertising work to help ethical companies grow.
I also love hiking, eating taiwanese food and I am a strong advocate for social and environmental justice!
I am currently available for commissions, collaboration or freelance illustration work.

Projects
- People on the tubeFrom June 2022, I had to commute for 2 hours every day to go to work. I started randomly drawing people on the tube out of boredom and found that this quickly blossomed into one of my favourite activities. I usually drew the person in front of me, and to avoid being noticed, sometimes put on my sunglasses!
- Vivid CuisineI was selected by Vivid Cuisine as a French illustrator to draw for their 'World Heritage Cuisine' campaign. I was completely free to draw on the theme of French cuisine! Make-up palette for blindwoman, with the favourite price of the juryStrate School of Design
I I was interested in the problems that visually impaired women face to make up, then we co-created the make-up kit that I called MYUD (Make Yourself Up Differently).
I designed the organization of the retail space as well.
