Global Compensation and Benefits Senior Analyst Sulzer

Hired to plan, implement and deliver the Global Grading Project for over 14,000 Sulzer employees across 30 countries. Since starting to roll out the new grading structures in Sept 2017, the 5 largest countries with almost 6,000 employees have been successfully graded.
Key achievements:
• Planned and then worked with HR to ensure timely data submission for all employees across the 30 countries which underpinned the subsequent compensation and benefits analysis
• Updating documentation and tools for new methodology
• Trained and coached various HR teams across different geographies to use the “Mercer” compensation and benefits methodology for grading
• Planned the implementation of the new grading structures for each country
• Ran the benchmark and individual grading discussions across the largest 5 countries, representing 6,000 employees in 3 months
• Prepare grading presentation and lead the discussions with managers in regards of the grading project
• Create a structure for the future change management process of the company structure
• Build the handover process for remaining countries delivery and the project closure

Led the PMO for the Tournament and Planning department’s portfolio of projects including planning key operational functions for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Used my PMO skills in an internal consulting capacity to resolve specific planning challenges which supported my promotion to Senior Specialist.
Key achievements:
• Organise on regular bases the high level meetings starting with the logistic and finishing on the content preparations including active participation at the meetings
• Co- delivered the Event Foundation Plan for Qatar 2022 FWC the first major planning deliverable an extensive scoping exercise that embraced the delivery of the whole 2022 FIFA World Cup by coordinated the delivery of the scope of 12 projects out of 60 and supported the process of the rest.
• Successfully monitored and reported on 3 strategic projects and multiple departmental initiatives covering all aspects of project management including management of risks, KPI’s tracking, issues and costs.
• Lead Specialist in the Rolling Business Plan and yearly Budget development exercise; coached various divisions to accurately forecast budgets. Managing the departmental budget, of over $9m
• Effective management of stakeholder internal relationships and inter-departmental dependencies and issues; collaborative issue resolution.
