Of all my creative endeavors, my freelance writing has been the most promising, as it has allowed me to write and edit articles for various digital platforms ranging from, ‘Guapmag’, ‘8085’, & ‘CapitalMoments’ early on, to Notionmag & Nation Of Billions most recently, giving me an intimate understanding of writing as a craft. Additionally, my early freelancing has exposed me to the craft’s challenges, taught me to approach while introducing me to some lesser-known contemporary artists with whom I conducted & transcribed feature-length interviews. Moreover I’ve built up rewarding work relationships, acquired a basic knowledge of WordPress and SEO, written detailed press releases, all whilst tending to PR correspondence. Journalism aside, I’ve also had the pleasure of scriptwriting with a filmmaker; songwriting with musicians, performing poetry live, and more. Most notably, I co-wrote & voice acted with Independent Film Maker R.M. Moses in 2015. Carousel, the film in question, went on to be nominated for "Best Drama Short" at the Winchester Film Festival 2015, was screened at the International Mobile Film festival SanDiego 2016, and also screened at the 7th annual New York City Independent Film Festival.

Charged with handling PardonMyBlog's twitter account, I encouraged audience engagement, drew in web traffic while boosting our account rating. Using TweetDeck, I devised a daily plan, scheduling live articles & tweets sent in PMB‘s quirky, provocative house-style. Additional responsibilities included: Overseeing tweet format - suitable grammar and image quality; rehashing each post for a further 2-3 days after initial release; incorporating uniquely worded headlines to re-spark interest; frequent header and display updates for PMB events, seasonal holidays, or advertising; commenting on trends (TV/music/pop culture Football, iconic moments, Voice/XFactor, Festivals & Award ceremonies (BET Awards, MOBO Awards).
