I am currently finishing my dissertation, so I'm looking for full-time work. I have tonnes of sales experience, service experience and some admin experience. I would love a job that was more creative though, I have found Sales jobs a little cold and intense. I would love a role that allowed me to use my creative skills.
I worked at different venues, picking up occasional shifts, including: The O2, Twickenham Stadium and various hotels.
I worked within the Motors sales team, selling ad space to car dealers. I had to keep every account I tried to sell to updated, to avoid overlap with other team members and the accounts teams.
I was being trained in Media Sales. I was taken to meetings and set up a couple of my own. In my time there, I was compiling a list of contacts and networking regularly. My role was also highly administrative. I took care of the senior staff's meetings, revenue and potential revenue. Using SalesForce, I organised all of this into separate sheets and set reminders for meetings and follow-up calls.
I worked as a Sales Advisor. My responsibilities included: customer service, serving on tills, restocking, running stock to other team members, greeting at the door, fitting room service, fitting room organisation and clean out, and occasionally working solely in the stock room. I was promoted to Beauty Specialist a few months before I left the store, my responsibilities in this role included: tracking stock, working with visual merchandising team to sell effectively and to learn the use and ingredients of the beauty products.
I worked at Aldo for a short time, over the Christmas period. My responsibilities included: customer service, upselling cleaning items, restocking and cleaning the shop.
I worked in 2 pubs over the summer of my first year of university. My responsibilities included: bartending, serving food, restocking the bar and cleaning. I have basic cocktail training.
I originally worked for the House of Fraser Hobbs concession in Manchester but then moved over to the Regent Street Hobbs store once I moved to London for university. My responsibilities included: customer service, upselling, cleaning, restocking and providing a personal shopper experience. Hobbs is the most 'premium' place I have worked and it allowed me to develop great customer service skills, that I have found incredibly helpful in roles since.
