About me
Hey there! My name is Aina and I come from Barcelona, Spain. I'm based in Paris and London. I just graduated from my BA in Fashion Design at University of East London. Living, studying and working in this big cities has given me a wide vision of what fashion is or could be. I enjoy working in many areas of the fashion field. Every step before and after the production of an item is interesting for me. I've worked in production as a freelancer and for brands, as a design assistant, in showrooms organising upcoming collections, backstages of runway shows, styling and in retail, among other jobs like being a dance teacher or working in a bar, which taught me how to work in a team and stay focus on your objective to achieve your goals. I'm also very sociable, easygoing and honest. I consider myself a designer who likes transmitting fun and positivity in clothes. My work comes from my heart. I express feelings I didn't even know I had before designing. I let my subconscious create, and that is freedom for me. I enjoy working with colour, when I design for me the most exiting part is adding the colour or print to the item, for me it's what gives the most life to a garment, as well as the fabric and the construction details. Main interests: Design, illustration, research and concept development, print, colourist, graphic design, and communications.

Splendid Chaos Collection (mini portfolio)Final year BA Fashion design collection. MAKE THE MOST OF WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL AND THE REST, LET IT BE. The inspiration for Splendid Chaos collection started with the dadaism art movement. A collection inspired by Dadaism, kitsch and my clothes. In this journey I feel connected to certain objects, shapes, artwork materials, photography...I aestheticize objects and play with this mixed media to create art in a free and personal method like the Dada artists did, then I combine my art with my sil

Music and fashion are for me two disciplines that complement each other very well. One can't live without the other and vice versa. I always enjoyed designing for musicians because they give a very special energy to the garment. I like producing timeless fashion that will remain in that videoclip song forever and that has a cohesive narrative with the artist. Working with a precise costumer is very interesting for me because you mix your ideas and values to create something beautiful. Respecting both visions and understanding the concept or message the musician wants to deliver is for me the most important.
