A professional contemporary art practice runs in parallel to my professional industry work, under a pseudonym, complimenting my work through an exchange in approach and extending my research. Previously showing work in international exhibitions in China and Belgium, and across London, my work converges around the intersection between politics and the metaphysical. Driven by the idea of emancipation, I draw upon personal experience in an attempt to explore aspects of the sociopolitical that currently questions the ethics involved in the automation and commodification of emotion, through the study of artificial intelligence.

Following the year one degree introduction and topic overviews, I was keen in keeping a focus on experimentation, channeling my studies toward Branding and Web Design. Learning key skills in HTML, CSS and Flash development for my 2nd year, to facilitate plans for external final year projects. Taking on the option to do 70% External work and 30% Personal work in my final year, I won 2 clients to develop brand strategy, identity design and web applications. My final year study topic was Branding with special interest in Semiotics. Achieving a 2:1 I was selected with the other top graduates in the country to showcase our work at the New Designers Exhibition in London. Taking place over two weeks we met with designers and other professionals from Print, Web and Packaging companies. Conversations with scouts from Nokia and Sky being most notable, which is where first contact was made for my future employment with Sky.
