I am a london based Sociology and Media studies graduate, keen to pursue an exciting career in Digital Marketing and PR.

Our aim is/was to change the narrative and media steriotype concerning young people by making sure thos doing amazing things on our community are the ones receiving the most publicity. - RUN THIS TOWNHow many times have you wondered how some outstanding people manage to do what they do? Keeping updated with greatness via their instagram accounts clearly can't be enough. I curated Run This Town to connect passion driven creatives with people who have achieved greatness and excellence in their various fields. These monthly live conversation session will be held at the Hospital Club.

Responsibilities included:
Pastoral Care: line management of a staff team of up to 10 members of staff & 3 volunteers and pastoral care of up to 84 young people
Social Action Projects: Supporting each team of 12-13 young people to design, develop and implement a series of social action projects, including campaigns, sponsorship events and volunteering days
Ensuring an Inclusive Programme: making logistical adjustments to the programme and supporting other staff members in adapting sessions for inclusion needs
Enabling Graduation: Empowering young people to achieve graduation requirements
Risk Management: conducting Risk Assessments and giving daily briefings
Promote and Inspire: Encourage and inspire young people to stay involved with The Challenge after NCS: including with our graduate offer and Head Start
Incident management and recording
Programme Logistics: including transport, equipment and other programme resources
Money Management: Sponsorship money (cash and online giving pages,) petty cash, budgets and reconciliations
Communication: Communicating with social action partners and charities to ensure the young people on the programme adhere to all to their requirements.
Liaising with other staff members such as the relationship managers to ensure all aspects of the social action projects are completed and completed in line with the expectations of the community partners.
