  • This was a full-time position within one of the leading practices that specialises in education design. Projects varied in scale and purpose serving primary and secondary schools in East Anglia, Herfordshire and Essex. Experience has been gained in RIBA work stages A-K through Design and Build contracts. Duties involved: drawing up existing & proposed plans, sections, elevations and construction details; producing 3D models, presentations, internal finish sample boards; feasibility studies. area schedule assessments and office admin.


Editorial Intern

The Architectural Review

  • Assisted the editorial team with the monthly AR print and online magazines. This position was an insight into how running a global and cultural magazine works whilst having the opportunity to work on small personal projects that can contribute to the AR website. Duties involved: contacting architecture practices for visual content such as photographs. and drawings, creating online archives of past articles of historical and creative interest and managing social media.

  • Responsible for assisting on a town planning research project entitled “ConnectedCities” through the help of the RIBA Host Practice Scheme. Duties involved: modelling the project architect’s concepts of a prototype sustainable family house and terraced streets on SketchUp, drawing up town plan layouts on AutoCad.
