About me

I am a dynamic and creative Graphic Designer who has recently gained a First Class Honours Degree in Graphic Design at the University of Wales Trinity St David. My degree course gave me the opportunity to develop my strengths as a lateral thinker and allowed me to demonstrate my natural inclination to always seek original and innovative design solutions.Set against this background, I am instinctively drawn to the creative possibilities that minimalist design offers, as well as more traditional design. During my studies I have had experience of working part time in a high octane design environment at a professional football club, and since completing my studies this role has become permanent. Thriving in this environment my employers say that I am innovative, hard-working and reliable. I believe that my experience and my instinctive ability for originality gives my work a distinctive and professional edge.

From September 2017 I worked part-time for Swansea City Football Club. Working within the club’s marketing & sales department I performed a number of roles, which included producing design options for a number of distinct streams, ranging from electronic stadium advertising to providing corporate design ideas for the club’s social media. I was also engaged as the official match day photographer for mascots and in a further role within the sales team I processed internet sales of club merchandise, where I completed orders, organised personalised printing of jerseys, photographed a range of club products and editied the images on Photoshop.The experience of working in such an environment has been invaluable and has allowed me to demonstrate that I have the drive, energy and originality to succeed in such roles. My efforts have been rewarded by an offer of a full time contract at the club as a graphic designer.
