About me
Through detailed and intricate illustrations I like to tell surreal stories. There is a magical and vintage feeling side to my work which is inspired by nature, travels, Mexican Folklore, and Mythology. Vibrancy and colour are essential in my illustrations and most of my creations are done in Procreate; however acrylics are also a big part of my work and process. I have created illustrations for a few publications, mostly based in the U.K. Also I have done some licensing work for Deutschlandfunk Kultur. You can also find prints of my illustrations in Fy! and acquire wallpaper and fabrics with my pattern design at Spoonflower. Furthermore I have been commissioned to illustrate a card game for children based on the Sonoran Desert. After 6 years in Munich, I have recently relocated to Berlin, Germany. I grew up in Mexico City amidst a bicultural environment where Britain was embedded into my life. This made a significant impact in my interests and aesthetics. The juxtaposition of receiving an English education in the heart of Mexico City gave me a different awareness of Mexican culture and traditions. At the same time it made me fall in love with British literature, history, theatre and painting. I studied Graphic Design at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Afterwards, in 2015 I moved to London to do an MA in Art and Space at Kingston University. I am open to collaborations and commissions, and it would be great to hear from you!

High Jinks Loteria (Card Game)Although the actual game will not be produced anytime soon and will only be available at High Jinks Ranch in Arizona, I am able to share with you most of the illustrations I produced. I had a lot of fun working closely with my client. It was undoubtedly an experience that taught me a lot, not only about illustration-related topics but also about the desert and its flora and fauna. The typography used came directly from the client for this purpose only.
