In these years I wanted to create a specific look and feel for the entire magazine and website, ensuring there’s a unified visual look throughout. I follow the whole creative process, from editors’ need to final production, meeting very tight deadlines. My responsibilities include overseeing the art, photographs and drawn images that appear in the magazine: I also oversee the entire design department. I work with photo editors and editors to coordinate what images will match up with what words. I’ve strong retouching skills, a great eye for detail and knowledge of the print production process. I'm also responsible for making daily quick amends to a range of print files.
I worked with the Art Director and Architect Italo Lupi and a team of designers on print designs. Usually clients needed designs for trade shows, museum exhibitions or other huge events (such as brochures, trade show graphics, style guides, postcards, newsletters, posters and signs, collateral materials, etc). I have been involved in business development: identity development, logo design, company branding, corporate communications, typography, layouts and compositions, font and color management. In 6 years I produced captivating book series and compelling advertising campaigns while attending press checks, photo shoots and client management meetings.
