Filling in for the gallery manager when and where needed. My duties were as listed below: • Opening and locking up the gallery • General gallery maintenance, keeping the space clean and tidy • Processing all gallery purchases (cash and card). • Handling collections from the gallery, arranging shipping, liaising with clients. • Completing any daily tasks given to me by the gallery manager • Up selling the exhibited works and staying up to date on all relevant information • Coming up with ideas for our monthly newsletter, brainstorming and researching for exhibitions. • Supervising interns and assisting them with any given tasks • Production work, hanging, painting over marks on the walls, installing cable guards etc. • Answering the phone and replying to emails • Invigilating, ensuring all works and gallery space were safe and never left unattended.

I worked at Mayfair Art weekend for three days (30th June - 1st July 2018) and my duties were as listed below: • Being ready to assist with any duties/requests via team group chat • Assisting participating galleries/artists with any requests or queries • Giving out maps and daily plans to members of the public and spreading the word about Mayfair Art Weekend; Trying to get as many people involved as possible. • Helping out with setting up workshops and other featured events • Taking pictures for social media promotion • Delivering balloons, literature and drinks/glasses to participating galleries.
