Leading a team in a busy hotel environment, I was in charge of a new system change over. General admin and ad-hoc duties, with a main focus on the customers experience. There is no 'Reception Manager' role in the job role field - this is as close as I could get
I manage a team of over six people, working on ways to improve the desk and the team training. The hotel has 140 rooms, so I manage all reservations for incoming guests. I am also duty manager so if there are any issues that come up I am on hand to deal with them. The desk is in charge of the main safe, so a lot of money handling is done in my role.
