Hello! I'm a New Zealander living in London. I have previously worked on pre-production for a couple seasosn of the Marvel TV Series and now I create asset for Mobile App development. I'm new to the industry, having only been apart of it for 2 years but I am a motivated and hard worker.
Currently I specialize in 3D Asset creation and building 3D model that are to be used in mobile App development and WebGL showcases.
Polygon CGI – Freelancer Polygon CGI's main clients are car companies. Most of the jobs involved modelling interior elements of the cars. Also creating low poly car interiors for mobile app development. Outside of the car work I also modeled a companies logo for a 3D print, it was later used in an advert for the company. I also created a low poly model of an Adidas Stan Smith shoe for a WebGL pitch. Programs used; Modo Maya ZBrush Unity Deltagen Substance Designer Substance Painter Handplane
As part of a team we were task with the job to create the clients products to a photo realistic level. Programs used; - Modo - ZBrush - 3D Studio Max
Helping out on a couple of shows for the second season of the Thunderbirds TV series. Modeled a few major prop assets and a previs model. Programs used; - Modo - Maya
A small test project for a prospecting client. The projects required us to create a small bow for a perfume bottle for the brand. Programs used; - Modo - Marvellous Designer - 3D Studio Max
A short 6 week contract out in Gaydon, Warwickshire at the Jaguar Land Rover facility. Creating 3D Jaguar Land Rover vehicles for a onsite digital portfolio library and configurator. Job included CAD data restructuring and clean up and modelling elements of the car. Programs used; Modo Maya Deltagen
Karactaz Animation 2014 - 2015. Working with the studios Art Director to create 3D props and 3D background assets for Marvel's animated television series. The assets were textured, lit and rendered then packaged for delivery to clients. Over my time at Karactaz I worked on 3 different series. Communicating ideas within a team environment was another required skill to get each show's assets complete on schedule. Programs used; Modo ZBrush 3D Studio Max Maya
The Program was more of a mentor-ship. A chance to learn a specialized area of the 3D Pipeline with the guidance of an experience industry professional. I chose to learn rigging fundamentals for animation. A base knowledge of theories and workflows that I could build on to create my own rigs.
The design degree offered at Massey was a great insight into the type of creative thinking required to meet the brief of each assignment. It was also a great school to teach the principle of illustration and a very fundamental level of 3D workflows.
