Alex is a multi-award winning writer and director from London, UK. He was awarded the first International Sundance Ignite Fellowship following his film, Journey Home’s win of the Sundance Ignite "What's Next" Challenge in 2016.
Alex’s most recent short HUSH premiered at the British Film Institute and has since gone on to win awards at festivals in North Africa and Europe.
His films ‘Journey Home’, ‘The Trench’ and ‘HUSH’ have screened at a number of prestigious International Festivals around the world, including Africa International Film Festival, Encounters Film Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival and many more.
He is currently directing a BBC and BFI documentary commission titled 'Voices of Britain' for broadcast later this year.
Alex also works as a producer/director for commercial and corporate films, producing work for clients including M&S, selfharm.co.uk and CityLink, and directing content for Halfords, local authorities and gastro pub chains.
