As a UX researcher, my specialty is in the early stages of design: getting ideas on the table and getting things started. This includes foundational and experimental research to have a broad understanding of the problem space so we can begin to work in the right direction. I am particularly interested in how people brainstorm together and I continually search for new ways people from diverse backgrounds (e.g. culture, discipline, gender) can collaborate and innovate. I am committed to learning about global systems and how we can find unique ways of innovating by paying attention to the interaction of technology, climate change, and contemporary lifestyle changes around the world.
