As part of Haymarket Business Media, I worked in the centralized marketing team on a portfolio of 10 recruitment jobsites and 5 B2B supporting titles, one of which was the global B2B brand Campaign magazine. I'd plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote both the websites and titles to entice new users/readers to the sites. Developed and owned rebrand project - creating brand strategy and guidelines for 8 jobsites and 5 supporting magazines. Responsible for planning and marketing of new site launches - including managing and coordinating cross-functional teams across commercial, editorial, external agencies and events. Market and organize special events/webinars with clients such as Lucozade Powerleague to support editorial content, anniversaries and new promotions. Project managed redesign of 10 e-commerce sites and executed 6 month marketing plan - ecommerce delivered to budget month on month.
As part of the Kindle content team I worked across the eBook store, app-store and newsstand, promoting and marketing titles through tablet and mobile. Created digital marketing campaigns for Amazon Publishing titles and leading publications, Hello! and National Geographic to promote and drive sales. Management of creative, social media, emails, blogs, device promotions and across site merchandising. I would further analyse the success of these campaigns, which would be transferable for future promotions. Work with publishers: Hearst, Time Inc and Northern shell, to oversee the smooth running of their paid campaigns, which were advertised effectively on Kindle devices.
Dissertation/Major Project: 14 page prototype customer magazine for Fuller's Brewery Report: Market Analysis, Research and Future Longevity Planned and produced a 14-page customer magazine for Fuller's Brewery that would persuade customers to dine and drink out and be a supporting brand extension. Further created an integrated marketing plan, and completed creative testing, market research and competitor analysis to support a business case for the title.
