About me
I am an animation director with 20 years’ experience covering video games, digital illustration, animation and special effects. I’m a versatile artist, designer and strong communicator. I seek the best way to tell stories, finding an appropriate medium or style to engage the audience. I’m comfortable working on tight budgets for smaller clients or large-scale corporate work, heading up a team. I run a small animation company which employs, on a freelance basis, graphic designers, storyboard artists, musicians, sound designers and actors. My work has featured in advertising, medical and educational animation, short films and TV shows. Dinosaurs: Terrible Lizards, an irreverent children's animation I created with Joel Veitch of rathergood.com is on Youtube and the two episodes so far have clocked up over 26 million views.

Operator, Dir: Caroline Bartleet. I contributed interactive onscreen graphics to furnish the London Fire Brigade Operations Centre set. It was crucial that the visuals be completely plausible so as not to detract from the unfolding human story

Client: Philips, Dir: Ben Wheatley. I created and composited a CGI character into live-action footage to depict a video game wreaking revenge on its players. The effect was central to the concept and helping the piece go viral.
