Alexandra McFadyen is a fashion stylist and consultant from Toronto whose knowledge of fashion derives from varied work within the industry and a passion for the art. She is notable amongst peers as a positive, kind-hearted and innovative worker who pushes boundaries and values the opinions of her coworkers, always looking to be challenged and finding inspiration in everything she does. Outside of fashion, she is always pushing her limits through sport and tries to maintain balance through wellness practices and embraces any opportunity to explore new places.
After receiving her diploma in Fashion Management, Alex has consulted for a diverse range of companies in Toronto to grow their social media presence, refine company branding, and assist with product assortment, e-commerce design, and off-figure styling. She has worked with various start-up companies in both account management and sales as well as photo production.
She most recently applied her passion for quality products, photography, and art direction to launch her career as a fashion stylist. Assisting one of Toronto’s most reputable stylists, Alex gained on and off-figure experience and took the opportunity to create inspiring, editorial-style images with renowned photographers and clients – Saks Fifth Avenue, Valentino, Chloe, LouLou Magazine, Alvaro Goveia, and MTV to name a few.
She currently lives in Berlin, where she has continued to assist as a stylist for companies like Sleek Magazine, as well expanding her profile into creative writing.
