About me
My strongest asset is my ability to understand people and build good relationships. My patience and resilience have allowed me to become adept at providing solutions when challenges arise. As a result of having a plethora of jobs in different sectors, I feel that I am able to adapt easily to what a situation needs; whether on a technical, administrative, or interpersonal level.
The two main pillars of my working life so far have been in being a freelance musician, and working in education. While most aspects of each of these fields are the complete opposite, there are also a lot of aspects in which I have been able to use my strengths and skillset.
Live music is incredibly important to me. As a freelance musician I have organised, hosted, and performed at countless events - both for my own musical endeavours and for other clients. I have gained a wealth of experience over the years, and this is now an area where I feel very confident across all aspects. Whether it is working alongside venues, collaborating with other artists, or promoting the events, I feel capable in my ability to deliver a positive experience for all involved.
Throughout my time working in education I have been responsible for planning and delivering lessons and workshops, all while ensuring the various learning and safeguarding needs of the students are met. I a responsibility of setting up effective learning spaces, and ensuring that all resources are well organised and available.
However, the main essence of any role I have had within education revolves around helping people to achieve their goals. Being able to get in with the students and colleagues has been conducive to me being able to understand what they need and for them to trust I am there to work with them in getting that.
I am excited to begin a new chapter in my working life, I am looking to being a career that both plays to my strengths and provides me with a good amount of challenge so that I may grow and develop.
