Work history
Geophysicist
- Managing long term, complex seismic processing projects to deliver a final product in
a timely fashion and to a client’s specification.
- Analysing large volumes of data to determine the ideal workflow from a time, cost and
quality perspective.
- Testing, parameterisation and implementation of seismic processing and imaging
tasks such as reformatting field data, statistical and model-based denoise,
deconvolution, refraction and tomographic statics, q-compensation, migration,
demultiple techniques and seismic velocity analysis.
- Preparing, running and managing production workflows.
- Regularly interacting with local and international clients and colleagues to ensure
project quality, time and cost targets are met.
- Completing project documentation, technical and status reports.
- During severe downturn in the industry, took on extra responsibility of data
management and logistics for entire London processing centre; converting,
transferring and storing large volumes of data in various formats and on various media
including tape drives. Receiving and delivering client data.
