In each role, I have been issued with a very particular brief, and have subsequently written copy with regard to differing readerships, tone and business models.

Teaching English in China lead me to develop a series of transferable skills. These included managing both personnel and classrooms, developing goal-orientated activities and communicating with students, parents and fellow staff with whom I didn't share a native language.
Besides conducting weekly meetings with the parents of each class, I also undertook a sales role, pitching and demonstrating lessons, and achieved a high sign-up rate.
