I was brought in to NAB to lead a reimagining of their core mobile banking experience for today and into the future. I worked with their internal Mobile team to create an improved direction for their 2.3M daily users. At the heart of this redesign was an emphasis on accessibility and making NAB's banking tools available and easy to use for everyone. I worked closely with their Accessibility team creating designs tailored for users with mobility limitations, those that relied on Voice Over features and ensured the structured experience worked when using the app in a completely blacked out mode. These tailored design included Large Text support, orientation views and the seamless integration of actions if gestured could not be performed. I lead the design direction and created high fidelity concepts and prototyping for our regular user testing sessions. These sessions helped inform our final direction that balanced the needs of someone new to banking with the requirements of someone managing multiple business accounts. This resulted in a refreshed and simplified app that set the foundation for NAB's internal team to take forward and build upon into the future.
I was part of a 4 designer strong team, tasked with rethinking, redesigning and setting a vision for the future of a Construction application in 5 weeks. My role in the project: - Concept a future vision that can take the app into 2020 and beyond. - Develop a robust and future proofed Design System with their developers that can allow their product teams to focus on creating the most intuitive experience for their customers.
