Little, Brown (four-time Publisher of the Year) approached me, last year, to discuss terms for my debut novel. I took nine months to work on revisions across Indonesia, Thailand, Fiji and New Zealand. However, this period led me to decide to self-publish the book in partnership with a marine conservation charity instead. All profits are donated to charity.
