My responsibilities are to ensure that I operate the cameras according to the running order created by the director. I am in charge of all four cameras within the studio and I must constantly be few steps ahead of the show at all times to setup particular shots during the running order. I have camera operated for the lunch show, the flagship show, the Sunday Politics show as well as the late shows. I also have the responsibility of floor managing the studio, ensuring that the set is tidy and everything is in order before the presenter arrives. I am also required to look after any guests that are in the studio as well. I have also been trained in using the media hub which is what connects Tunbridge Wells to network (London) and is responsible to connecting live interviews on location as well as recording networked VTs.
