About me
My name is Alexander McNamara, I am a conscientious, enthusiastic and creative minded individual. Through my time working in various industries, I have acquired an array of integral skills and properties that are desirable in a variety of business environments. My diverse industry experience includes working in radio production, retail, hospitality, and recently gaming media production. Having experience in these fields has improved and enriched my ability in the workplace, skills such as marketing, communication, brand management, team leading and customer relations make me adaptable in any fluctuating professional milieu.
Positions in businesses such as Rockstar Games has afforded me an incredible opportunity to take part in driving projects that rely heavily on the integrity of interdepartmental teamwork and the ingenuity of the individual. Taking part in creating incredible projects such as the popular singleplayer RPG Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto V Online and the Red Dead Online Beta meant utilizing sophisticated communication skills and steadfast motivation when refining technical aspects of the time-constrained projects.
University has acclimatised me to creative solutions while also expanding and installing the value of critical thinking skills. It was critical thinking and attention to detail which has helped with my time working with the marketing team of NBC Universal, discussing social media tactics and target audiences and also with my employment in distribution roles for Pendle Sportswear.
The future goal for my career path is to continue to augment the pool of experience I possess and to allow what I have learned to help new and exciting ideas flourish within me and prospective businesses. The aim is to connect with more forward-thinking individuals and contribute something to a business that serves Imagination and innovation.
